Baptismal Preparation Class:
Parents who are seeking Baptism for their child must attend Baptism preparation class before the Baptism is scheduled. These preparation classes remain current for three years. Please call, or email, Fr. Jerry Volz ([email protected]) in the Parish Office at 913.491.5017 to register for a class or for more information. We offer a Baptism Preparation Class once a month (with the exception of July and December)
Scheduling a Baptism:
To schedule a Baptism, please call Fr. Jerry Volz in the Parish Office. The Sacrament of Baptism is offered to all our registered parishioners. Grandchildren of parishioners are also welcome to receive the Sacrament of Baptism here at Nativity. To discuss this at more length or to schedule a Baptism, please call Fr. Godparent Endorsement Form:New in 2026, all Godparents will be required to complete this Godparent Endorsement form AND get a letter from the parish where they are registered that states they are registered parishioners in good standing. These documents must be received before the scheduled baptism date. If the Godparents are Nativity parishioners, please indicate that on the Godparent Endorsement Form.
