Dear Parishioners,
Church of the Nativity is at a crossroads. In a relatively short time, our parish family has grown significantly, our school and day school have flourished, and more families than ever are seeking to be formed in and wanting to join in our Catholic faith here. This growth is a tremendous blessing, and it calls us to look ahead with care and intention.
Parish leaders have prayerfully explored how our facilities can better support Catholic education, faith formation, spiritual life, and worship for years to come, while remaining faithful to our mission of bringing Christ to our community. Several potential projects have emerged from this work, which include expanding and improving our educational and faith formation spaces, renewing areas of our campus to better serve our students and ministries, and making thoughtful enhancements to where we worship – our church and chapel.
Your voice matters as we consider these proposed projects. To help us along the way, we have engaged the Steier Group, a trusted Catholic development consulting firm, to lead a parish-wide campaign planning study. Through this process, we will listen carefully to the hopes, priorities, and concerns of our parish family and better understand how we are called to move forward together.
Thank you for walking with us during this important moment in our parish’s life. With your guidance, prayers, and engagement, we can discern the path God is calling us to take and ensure that Church of the Nativity continues to be a place where faith is formed, community is strengthened, and Christ’s presence is made visible for generations to come.
God Bless,
Fr. Jerry Volz
Pastor
