Little Church

During the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday Masses, children who are 4 years old through 2nd grade are invited to join in a children’s Liturgy of the Word in the St. Joseph Room. After the opening prayers of the Mass, the priest invites the children and leaders to come forward to the front of the church to receive a blessing and then process to the St. Joseph Room for their Liturgy of the Word. They return to the church for the preparation of the gifts and are present for the entire Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Little Church essentially is worship, not catechesis. It is intended to be liturgy  presented on a level which the children can understand and in which they can become engaged - a grace-filled time in which God speaks to the children through the Gospels and the children respond with adoration, praise, thanksgiving and petition.
